Grupo de trabajo de Dolor Crónico

Introducción

El dolor crónico tiene un impacto significativo en la vida de las personas, afectando su salud física, mental y social, así como su bienestar general. Este impacto puede manifestarse en diversos aspectos, incluyendo la disminución de la calidad de vida, problemas de salud mental como depresión y ansiedad, dificultades en las relaciones sociales, problemas laborales y económicos, y una mayor dependencia de otros.

El dolor crónico constituye uno de los problemas de salud más relevantes para la sociedad actual y tiene un impacto significativo sobre las personas que lo experimentan, sus familias, trabajo y comunidad en general.

El grupo de trabajo de dolor crónico (GETIDOR) se ha creado con el objetico de mejorar el abordaje de las necesidades de los individuos con esta patología basándonos en la literatura científica y en alianzas multidisciplinares, y promover la docencia y la investigación en este campo.

Tenemos como objetivo mejorar el conocimiento en este campo, elaborar documentos de consenso y guías de evaluación en el manejo del paciente con dolor crónico, y mejorar la calidad de vida de estos pacientes.

Objetivos del Grupo de Trabajo

Facilitar el conocimiento de esta patología y mejorar el abordaje en la práctica clínica habitual
Conocer las herramientas diagnósticas y terapéuticas en Rehabilitación en el manejo del dolor
Determinar el impacto funcional del dolor crónico
Actualización de la evidencia de esta patología
Promover estudios sobre aspectos epidemiológicos de las personas con dolor
Evaluar la concienciación de los profesionales sanitarios
Elaborar protocolos de actuación específicos para el manejo de estos pacientes en los servicios de rehabilitación.
